Children’s Ministry
“THE SPLASH” is the name of our children’s ministry.
Our Children’s Ministry is divided into four groups: the Pond, The Little Squirts,The Super Soakers and The Tidal Waves.
The Pond: This is our nursery. Your precious little 6-month-olds through 2-year-olds are welcome here to play and be loved on. Just drop your little duckies off at The Pond! Snacks are provided.
The Little Squirts: Welcome to your 3-year-olds to Kindergartners! (potty-trained is a requirement) After worship with Mom and Dad, we get together to learn about all kinds of things like who God is, how much He loves us, and how to pray. We work on memory verses, do crafts together, and learn how to follow Jesus – even earning rewards for doing it.
The Super Soakers: Your 1st – 3rd graders are in for some super fun learning. We want to soak in the truth of the word of God, know it by heart, so we can follow it with all of our hearts. Let’s learn it through lively lessons, silly games, goofy acting, and handy crafts. Prizes can be won for attendance, verse memorization, and other challenges!
The Tidal Waves: This youngsters youth group is made up of 4th – 7th graders. Discussion topics include who God is, how we partner with God to serve others, how to grow in relationship with each other (handling bullying, living in sexual purity), and many others. Fun outings/parties will be planned as kids show their stuff participating in memorization of Scripture, learning books of the Bible, bringing friends, and completing other challenges. You can look forward to pizza parties, bowling, and even a lock-in at the church with games and Xbox 360 fun!
